Adaptive Amplification

Adaptive Amplification is a PCR workflow where cycling is optimized per sample instead of applied uniformly across every well.

What is adaptive amplification?

Conventional thermocyclers run one program for the whole plate, so a fixed cycle count is either too many for concentrated samples or too few for scarce ones. Adaptive amplification treats each well as its own reaction and ends it on its own terms.
