We are at an inflection point in bringing this technology to market and we are seeking to expand our engineering team with a Sr. FW Engineer. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:‍

‍

Education

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent relevant field
• 2+ years experience in either an academic or an industry setting is required, additional industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design low-level drivers such as I2C, SPI, UART etc.
• Design and maintain embedded SW to drive opto-mechanical sensors.
• Board bring-up, test and troubleshoot embedded systems (Embedded C)
• Work cooperatively with other members of the R&D team
• Contribute to company discussions and provide input on other initiatives in our continual improvement environment
  
  

Minimum Experience requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Embedded programming in C, knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Experience using RTOS and bare metal for ARM Cortex-M3/M4, STM32, TI, STCube or similar IDE
• Experience communicating with peripherals such as linear actuators, temperature sensors, optical sensors
• Experience with debuggers (e.g. JTAG, SWD)
• Revision control experience (e.g., Git, Subversion)
• Ability to understand schematics and familiar with test tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers to debug

• Able to comprehend complex data and use it to tackle issues from a system level.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
